Last Weekend!

So, Morghan & Brody came up last weekend for a little Christmas with us! They won't be here for Christmas, so we let them open their gifts from us, so that we could watch Brody be so fun and cute!!! His thing this year was to open his gifts with his mouth! We have no idea where that came from, but it was dang funny!
And he re-arranged the ornaments like a hundred times or so, and likes them all on the same branch (how funny is that?) It was just way hard for him to look and not touch. I just put the nicer ornaments up higher and let him have at the others! Isn't it all about the excitement of kids that makes it fun anyway?

Thanksgiving in Arizona!

I thought I'd post some random pictures of our trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving! Brynn found a baby to hold of course!!! And she was so cute!

We went to Oatman, which is a little old mining ghost town. They have wild, or not so wild burrow all over that just go where they want and love to be fed carrots by all the tourists! That was pretty cool!

Why do I look like total crap in every picture with me in it??? That is why I hate my picture being taken, but is this not totally typical of an 8 year old boy shoving this carrot up his nose because it's fun to be gross?!?

This is Jake and Brynn's first trip to Arizona (well, Jake has been there before, but was only 2 month's old!) anyway......so we had to get a picture with them by some cactus!

This is Jake's room! I LOVE how it turned out and the colors! I just did stripes in one corner to add a fun accent! I was going to do a couple more, but they are such a pain in the rear! I was having a terrible time getting the tape to stick to the wall. Anyway, what do you think? Leave me a comment and let me know if you think yes, more stripes, or no leave it alone and don't over do it!

We get carpet on Wednesday!!!!!!! This project has been going on for 2 year now, so I'll post more later! I am so glad to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! We are ALL ready for our house back!

I can't believe I'm posting this horrible picture of myself, but all I have been doing in every spare minute I have the last 2 weeks is paint!!!! The girls have helped me a little, but I'm so picky about it, that they probablly think its easier to just let me do it. Anyway, Ash and I got a little carried away and....well, here you go! Isn't she so cute???? even with Panit on her forehead!

Jake the "Fat Woman" -- Mostly just the big boobed gal! lol He said this year "Mom, I want to be a fat lady for Halloween........I can borrow one of your dresses" Nice, huh? Made my self esteem soar! ha ha

He was sure glad to get out of his dress tonight! I think he found out dressing as a girl sucks!(thank goodness)

It's to early in the year for this much snow!

This is a branch off of a big old tree by our house that came crashing down about 6 am and hit the roof! It made a terrible sound......kinda alarming that early! ha ha This picture doesn't do it justice......it's way bigger than it looks. We got about 16 in. of snow and it wasn't very tree friendly........with the leaves still on all the trees, it weighed them down terribly! Lot's of tree damage around here.

The first snow of the Year!

What the heck! It's only the 11th of October and we are haveing a big old snow storm! It's been snowing all day! I think it's mostly just kids that love it! I'm not loving it so much!

Just a bit of advice..........."Don't eat yellow snow"

Shay had volleyball tournaments today! They have had a pretty dissapointing season, but they played great today and won one and lost one......so, with the whole single elimination thing, they only played 2 teams............but, I'm proud of her! She is a great little player!

Ashley played in a tournament a couple weekend's ago and got a medal for MVP!! How awesome is that! Way to go Ash!
